Damien Jordan – Managing Director and Certified Financial Planner

Damien has been providing quality advice to his clients for over the last 15 years. He has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning, a Diploma of Financial Advising and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Damien is also a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is an active sportsman playing cricket competitively and likes staying fit.

 

 

 

 

Tristan Jordan – Head of JFS Financial Planning & Senior Financial Planner

Tristan has been with JFS since 2007. He has completed a Bachelor of Business (Banking & Finance), a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is a qualified Credit Adviser. Tristan was the winner of the 2011 AMPFP New Planner Award Of Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria. He is a big supporter of the AFL and likes to socialise with friends. Tristan also became a part owner of JFS in 2013 and is highly regarded in the financial planning industry.

 

 

 

Calvin Barlow – Head of JFS Quality Control & Senior Financial Planner

Calvin has been employed with JFS since October 2010. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing, Management & Human Resource Management) and a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). Calvin became a part owner of JFS in 2015 and is highly regarded in the financial planning industry. Calvin was the winner of the 2013 AMPFP New Planner Award of Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria. He is a gym enthusiast, plays cricket professionally and is a passionate Carlton football supporter.

 

 

 

Kyle Duimel – Senior Financial Planner and Accredited Mortgage Consultant

Kyle commenced employment at JFS in October 2009. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™,  has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Finance & Financial Planning) Masters of Commerce (Financial Planning, Finance & Insurance). Kyle is also an Accredited Mortgage Consultant. Kyle enjoys going snowboarding, downhill mountain biking and playing golf.

 

 

 

 

Stephen Charalambous – Senior Financial Planner 

Stephen commenced employment at JFS in May 2013. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance/Financial Planning) and Bachelor of International Studies (International Relations/Politics). He has a strong passion towards the Financial Services Industry and also has a key interest in property and investment markets. He is passionate towards wealth creation and the importance to start building this process sooner rather than later. Stephen enjoys all sports but has a particular passion for football, In his spare time he enjoys days down at the beach with his family and friends.

 

 

 

Shane Debernardi – Financial Planner

Shane joined the JFS team in June 2014. He has completed his Bachelor of Accounting (honours), undertaking his major in financial planning, where his true passion lies. He is passionate in helping anyone with their financial situations and helping clients look towards the future. Shane loves his sports and outdoor activities, especially his football, fishing and camping. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.

Michael Wallace – Senior Paraplanner

Michael joined the JFS team in October 2016 as the Senior Paraplanner. My role at JFS is to work closely with the financial advisers to prepare the statements of advice documents that reflect clients goals. I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accouting and Finance) and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. I am also a Financial Planning Association (FPA) member and I am half way through completing my studies to become a Certified Financial Planning. Outside work of I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and dog, Ozzie. I am passionate about all sports, playing cricket and football and supporting Carlton FC.

 

 

 

Simon Wong – Junior Paraplanner

Simon joined the JFS team in January 2017 as a Junior Paraplanner to assist the financial advisers in the preparation of statements of advice documents for clients. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics & Finance) and a Diploma of Financial Planning with plans to commence the Certified Financial Planning program in the near future. Outside of work, he enjoys watching and playing soccer as well as spending time with friends and family.

Dale Gerreyn – Head of Tax & Accounting, Chartered Accountant

Dale Gerreyn is a very experienced and highly credentialed chartered accountant with over 15 years’ experience in providing business and taxation advice. Known for his technical abilities, particularly in the areas of accounting, tax structuring, planning and asset protection, he has developed strong relationships with clients across a range of industries.

As Head of JFS Accounting and Tax, the combination of his experiences running and advising individuals and businesses, plus the insights from the other areas of the JFS’s financial services business will prove enticing for people looking to get the most out of their business and personal situation.

Dale is recognised as a highly personable and passionate practitioner who is committed to assisting clients to achieve business outcomes that are practical, measurable and aimed at improving a business’ profitability. He is passionate and engaging and loves sharing the recipe for success with individuals and business owners alike. What separates Dale from the rest is his practical and down to earth relatable communication style that is easily understood.

 

Marcus Holmes – Chartered Accountant

Marcus joined JFS in January 2014. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has completed a Bachelor of Accounting degree at Monash University.  Marcus aims to guide and mentor his clientele throughout their accounting, taxation & business process in order to maximize their wealth and reach their financial goals.  What differentiates Marcus is his passion to work closely with his clients and see them succeed through his friendly and proactive support.

In his spare time, Marcus enjoys playing and watching sport, in particular soccer as well as being in the company of his friends and family.

 

 

 

JFS LENDING DIVISION

George Katrantzis – Head of JFS Mortgage Operations & Lending Specialist

George joined JFS in July 2014 as our dedicated Lending Specialist and has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in Finance), from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment. Additionally, he also completed a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and is a member of the MFAA. Outside of work George enjoys spending time with his family and travelling to new places.

 

 

 

Franco Mazzeo – Assistant Mortgage Broker

Franco joined JFS in September 2016 as an Assistant Mortgage Broker. Franco is in his final stages of completing a Bachelor Commerce degree at Deakin University, majoring in Accounting, Finance and Financial Planning. Franco has recently been appointed as an Authorised Representative of AMP Financial Planning. As Franco works in the Lending space of JFS, he can provide debt advice regarding the structure of debt arrangements, and strategic debt advice to develop strategies to assist client’s with paying down debt sooner.

 Franco is also in his final stages of becoming a Accredited Mortgage Consultant (AMC), and meaning he will be able to provide credit assistance and credit advice regarding loan products. Franco enjoys anything challenges him and likes to spend his spare time playing soccer for his local club, and spending time with his family and friends.

 

 

JFS CLIENT SERVICES & OPERATIONS

Suzannah Gilardi – Operations Manager

Suzannah joined JFS in July 2015 as the Operations Manager. She has had a variety of past work experience in the corporate governance space including Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management and Business Compliance within large organisations both domestically and internationally. She has taken on the role as JFS Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing the ongoing day to day operations of the business, implementing the strategic initiatives and supporting staff in being successful in their roles. On a personal note, Suzannah loves to travel and learning about new cultures.

 

 

 

Gillian Jordan – Project Manager

Gillian joined JFS in 2016 and is our lead Projects and Events Manager, as well as other office responsibilities including Human Resources. She is highly skilled holding a qualification in training and assessment. Gillian is particularly passionate about providing opportunities for growth and development for the team and coordinates a variety of training programs for JFS staff.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, baking and cake decorating.

 

 

 

 

Angela Nguyen – Project Support

Angela joined JFS in July 2016 as an intern and is now part of the team as project support. She is completing Bachelors of Commerce and Economics at Monash University, majoring in Finance and Actuarial Studies. She assists various divisions in the business – notably Operations, Administration, and Paraplanning, but her role also ensures that JFS is maintaining and providing thorough support to our clients.

 

 

 

Divya Goel – Project Support

I joined JFS in November 2016 and am currently in my last semester of Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) at Monash University. I was attracted to financial planning as a career path as I would like to use my knowledge of Finance to help others to create a secure future and meet their financial goals. In the future, I hope to pursue a Diploma in Financial Planning and become a Certified Financial Planner.

 

 

 

Kaitlyn Szakacs – Client Services Officer

Kaitlyn joined JFS in February 2015. She is part way through a traineeship in Business Management and Front Line Management at JFS. Kaitlyn has been appointed as our Client Services Officer and is the first point of contact for all non-advice related matters. She also assists in the administration of everyday business and adhoc projects. She enjoys playing Netball and socializing with her friends and family.

 

 

 

 

April Bowman – New Business Officer

April joined JFS in June 2014. She has completed a traineeship in Business Management and Front Line Management with JFS.
